VOCATIONS
Come and See

Visiting the Monastery
As you discern whether you have a call to religious life, we encourage you to visit us at the monastery. You will be greeted by the Vocation Director for a tour of the monastery, join the community for the Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharist, and share a meal with the sisters.

You may stay at the monastery after making arrangements with the Vocation Director. This provides you an opportunity to visit with the Sisters or to spend time in quiet prayer and reflection. We welcome any questions you have and encourage you to share fears and concerns you might have about a vocation to religious life. We will accompany you in this discernment process with no strings attached.

What are the signs of a religious vocation?

  • You desire to seek God in a monastic setting.
  • You are attracted to the Liturgy of the Hours and the Rule of Benedict.
  • You want to live within a religious community and be of service in the Church.
  • You yearn to extend hospitality, to live simply, and to reverence silence.
  • You can accept diversity and interpersonal relational ways.
  • You cultivate your inner gifts and talents to help build community.
  • You are healthy.
