Discern your part in the Community
Accept our invitation to come and see what happens inside a real 21st Century women’s Monastery. You have not seen us in your history book. A member of our vocation team will host an evening of recreation, a day of spiritual renewal or a simple meal with wonderful women and guests.
We welcome any questions you have and encourage you to share fears and concerns you might have about living a religious life. The Vocation Director, S. Marie Fujan, will accompany you in this discernment process. All members of the Vocation Team have been in your place –asking the same questions at one point in their life, so we encourage you to take this opportunity to ask!

S. Marie Fujan OSB, Vocation Director
Vocation ministry is in my blood. I have often characterized my life as a Benedictine sister by saying: "One of the most important facts in the world is that God loves us." And since that is true, people need to hear it and be reminded over and over. And if people are to hear it, there needs to be people willing to say it--not only in words, but with their lives. I have chosen to be one of those people, by responding to God's call to be a Benedictine of St. Paul's Monastery. I would be happy to tell you more!

S. Linda Soler OSB has been in Vocation Ministry as a Director and team member for 11 years. She finds energy for the discernment on the journey seeking God. Sister Linda believes that God calls women to live the monastic life in mysterious ways. Working with women who are discerning God's call has only strengthened my vocation. Read more about S. S. Paula Hagen OSB, Founder of MOMS, loves sharing the Benedictine life with all the women who come to the Monastery - you can be sure she will offer popcorn and a place to have a friendly chat, a meal or prayers with the community. " I love praying with other people, the ancient psalms (contemporary translation) as well as contemporary readings by great authors on a daily basis." I am refreshed by the many community gatherings, rituals and traditions that bring us together as a unique family of friends serving Christ in each other and the world." Read more about S. Paula
