
Workshop I - Establishing Ministry of Mothers Sharing
This three-hour workshop provides an actual mini experience of Ministry of Mothers Sharing by actually demonstrating the benefits of Ministry of Mothers Sharing. It teaches staff and participants how to initiate this ministry into their parish or community, and how to establish a team of leaders who learn the details of initiating this ministry, i.e., marketing,
budgeting, planning a celebration, etc. Participant’s Workbooks are
used so that the participants have the information needed to initiate the Ministry.

Workshop II - Ministry of Mothers Sharing Facilitator Training
This six-hour workshop gives participants an actual experience of an adult learning model, provides facilitating skills, an understanding of “active” listening, discernment, the theology of Ministry of Mothers Sharing, as well as the practical application of Called & Gifted for the Third Millennium in the ministry. A participant’s workbook is used to help each participant participate fully and have a handy reference.

Workshop III - Developing a Ministry of Mothers Sharing Core Team
This three-hour workshop helps members develop team-building skills and a theology of Servant-Leadership needed on the Core Team. The value of clear job descriptions’ how to discern, and mobilize new members’ gifts are presented. Sample team meeting schedules, agendas, timelines, annual budget, and annual report to the Pastor will also be taught. A participant’s workbook is used to help the team use the concepts and forms at their parish.

Workshop IV - On the Journey Retreat Series Facilitator Training
At this three-hour workshop participants learn to facilitate a three-hour spiritual growth process using the On the Journey Retreat Series. They develop the skills to create a sacred environment for silence, reflection, and sharing aspects of one’s relationship with God or spiritual journey. With Christ the Servant Leader as a model of a retreat facilitator, they receive an action plan for initiating and facilitating an On the Journey Retreat, a marketing strategy, and they learn the value of the feedback process. Participant’s Resource Books are provided for the ongoing development of skills.
