A Warm Invitation to Our Assumption Feast!
Dear friends,
As summer draws to a close, we at St. Paul’s Monastery would love for you to join us for an evening of community at our annual Assumption Feast on Thursday, August 15th.
We will begin with prayer at 5:00 pm. Afterwards, we’ll move outdoors for a cookout. We are looking forward to an offering of balsamic marinated chicken with elote (this is the popular Mexican street vendor treat of grilled corn). There will of course be the traditional potato salad on hand and refreshing fruit cups.
Pray with us for good weather and maybe a bit of heat because that will make the ice cream taste that much better. Nelson’s Ice Cream will be onsite with a range of flavors, available through the evening until they are gone.
The big event of the evening is trivia with the popular Trivia Mafia. Gather your team of experts and join in on the fun, maybe one of the Sisters will be at your table. This could help you win the Benedictine round.

Throughout the summer, we’ll be selling tickets, and the lucky winners will be drawn at the Assumption Feast. This is your chance to win fantastic experiences like an REI Outdoors Package, a day of wine tasting at 7 Vines Vineyard, a day at the spa, a fun-filled family outing to Sky Zone, a top-of-the-line Blackstone 36-inch flat-top grill, or a 55-inch 4K UHD Insignia TV. Raffle tickets are just $20.00 and can be purchased from Jason Wittak. (You can also support us by selling these tickets to your family, co-workers, and friends.)

- Cost: $30 per person (18 and under are free, but registration is required)
