St. Paul’s Monastery and its Benedictine Center will join Tubman participating in National Night Out from 5:30-7:30pm at the Tubman East location, just up the road from the Monastery! Join us for games, food, crafts, and visits from local police and fire stations that provide clients, residents and community members the chance to engage with one another and to build a stronger community.
National Night Out began as a way for communities and police to build positive relationships in order to reduce and prevent neighborhood crime. Neighborhood block parties hosted by churches, nonprofits, police and fire stations, and other community organizations support this endeavor as a way to provide resources and encourage involvement. National Night Out is held on the first Tuesday in August in all states except Florida and Texas, which celebrate on the first Tuesday in October.
We hope you can join us!
