Pray With Us
Prayer is our joy!
At St. Paul’s Monastery, prayer is not just what we do—it’s who we are! Our Benedictine Sisters set the monastery’s foundation by embracing the ancient rhythm of daily prayer, contemplation, and worship, offering praise and intercession for the world. Rooted in the Rule of St. Benedict, we joyfully gather for the Liturgy of the Hours, inviting all into the sacred presence of God through silence, scripture, and shared devotion.
Prayer is also community. Whether in the chapel or with a spiritual companion, our trained spiritual directors are here to walk with you on your journey—in-person, on retreat, or even via Zoom. Come, pray, and experience the peace of Benedictine life!

A Journey In Faith
Prayer at St. Paul’s Monastery
At St. Paul’s Monastery, prayer is the heart of our Benedictine life—a sacred rhythm that nourishes the soul and connects us more deeply to God and one another. We invite all to join us in this prayerful way of life, whether through communal worship, scripture reflection, silent contemplation, or personal spiritual guidance.
Liturgy of the Hours & Eucharistic Celebration
Each day, our Benedictine Sisters gather for the Liturgy of the Hours, an ancient practice of psalms, hymns, and intercessions that sanctify time. Morning, midday, and evening prayers mark the day with praise and thanksgiving. We also come together to celebrate the Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith, offering our joys, struggles, and hopes to God.
Sacred Scripture & Contemplative Prayer
Our monastic tradition embraces Lectio Divina, a slow, meditative reading of scripture that allows God’s Word to speak deeply to the heart. In addition, we offer opportunities for silent contemplation and Centering Prayer, inviting stillness and openness to God’s presence in the quiet of our sacred spaces.
Celebrating the Saints & Sacred Seasons
The rhythm of our prayer also flows through the liturgical calendar, honoring the feasts of saints, holy days, and special seasons such as Advent and Lent. These celebrations connect us with the wider Church and the communion of saints who inspire us on our spiritual journey.
Spiritual Direction & Personal Prayer
For those seeking deeper spiritual guidance, our trained spiritual directors offer companionship in faith. Whether as part of a retreat, an overnight stay, or even via Zoom, spiritual direction provides a prayerful space to reflect, discern, and grow in one’s relationship with God.
