Enriching Lives Through Service

Volunteer at St. Paul's Monastery & the Benedictine Center

At St. Paul’s Monastery and the Benedictine Center, volunteers play a vital role in extending our mission of hospitality, spirituality, and community service. Each year, over 100 volunteers contribute more than 2,500 hours of service, generously offering their time and talents to support our ministries and outreach efforts.

The blessings of shared service

Volunteering within a Benedictine monastery offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a tradition that values prayer, work, and communal living. By engaging in service at the Monastery and the Benedictine Center, volunteers not only support the community but also embark on a journey of personal spiritual growth.

The rhythm of monastic life—centered around the Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharist, and lectio divina—provides a serene backdrop for reflection and deepening one’s faith. As volunteers share their gifts, they become integral to our universal search for God, enriching both their lives and the lives of the community.
